Sandy Point State Park in Annapolis offers everything you'd want in the way of a beach, lake and recreational facility. Its attractions include boating, fishing, swimming, historic interest and food and beverages. The park's beaches are small, but the marina facility includes 22 launching ramps and a stand that offers bait, tackle, fuel and fishing licenses. Wildlife viewing and bird watching are popular activities. Sandy Point is a great place to get away.
