Fort Morgan Beach Details

Address: 110 Hwy. 180 W, Gulf Shores, AL

Phone Number: 800-745-7263

Web Site: http://www.gulfshores.com/

The unicorporated island of Baldwin County west of the city limits of Gulf Shores is generally lumped together as "Fort Morgan." Fort Morgan Beach stretches from the city limits of Gulf Shores west to Mobile Bay and the 500-acre grounds of its namesake Fort Morgan, a state historic site (and location of a heavily used boat ramp).

Blessed with the same exquisite white sand/azure water oceanfront, Fort Morgan Beach offers a less developed, more natural island interior. The Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge has 3 miles of pristine beach within its boundaries and a chance to experience the edge of the gulf as nature intended. There, you'll find a parking lot, boardwalk and restrooms. Resort accommodations are limited and private cottage rental secures beach access for most visitors.
