St. Simons Island beaches wrap the eastern end of this “Golden Isle” of the Georgia coast. While storied as an island retreat for high-end golf, St. Simons is also a pert village of year-round residents attracted by the semi-tropical climate and the inherent uncrowded nature of this retreat. The crowds are small and the beach is more than enough.
