Carpinteria beaches
Carpinteria beaches
A tide pool nestled in some rocks near the campground in Carpinteria reveals anemones that open like flowers and close when touched. Crabs scurry between rocks and hidden places. Discarded shells lie here and there. The best viewing is at low tides when the water recedes uncovering the treasures.
