Hours: 24 hours a day year-round.
Visitor Center: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily in spring; to 6 p.m. in summer; to 4:30 p.m. daily in winter; closed on federal holidays.

Admission Price: Ages 16 and older (good for seven days): $3

Alpine tundra, forests, massive dunes, grasslands and wetlands are all protected as elements of the Great Sand Dunes natural system.
